a collaboration in the endurance space.

My client was a well-known headwear supplier in the outdoor and athletic arena. They collaborated with Omius Tech to create a collection of high-performance headwear, including hats, visors, and headbands, each uniquely equipped with a silicon grid to hold Omius cooling pieces. Under my direction, we employed a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote their collaborative product line, "Omius by Headsweats," utilizing various channels to maximize reach and engagement.

Concept

This was a completely new product for us, and one that our customers had never seen. We immediately started experimenting with the cooling pieces to see how and why they worked so well. I began reaching out to influencers and athletes to get pictures and ideas of how to best market our new product.

Pre-Launch

Once initial studio photography was complete, I started by releasing teaser content to build anticipation and excitement for the upcoming product. I created slogans, color themes, taglines and planned out social media templates. We started looking for influencers to wear the product and heard rumors that several of the Olympic marathon runners would be sporting the Omius product during the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Launch: Social Media, Website and PR

To promote the launch, I utilized my client's Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok and Facebook platform to announce the collaboration, highlighting the innovative cooling technology integrated into their already-loved headwear. I utilized my own photography, making quick work of the photos and videos for posts, reels, stories, and more.

The partnership was officially announced through press releases. These press releases were distributed to media outlets to generate coverage and inform the public about the upcoming products.

I worked to redesign the home page of the website, which was coordinated with the launch. New banners and website sections were designed with 2 customers in mind. B2C, as well as B2B. New product listings were created and designed, as well as engaging copy to sell the high-end product.

Let's Change it Up

Soon, we discovered that athletic and running teams were interested in having custom headwear made with their logos and branding. What was just a retail product now was becoming a customizable, business to business product. New campaigns were launched and the orders were pouring in. 

We leveraged social media platforms to announce the collaboration and showcase the new products. For instance, we shared updates on Instagram and Facebook, featuring teams like Betty Designs wearing the Omius by Headsweats gear, thereby reaching a broader audience through influencer partnerships.
